Who we are:

We are a husband and wife duo who love life and try each day to live it to the fullest. We believe in working hard, playing harder, and doing all things with integrity. We hope this reflects in our products and service. We sure try. We named our frame business “Georgia Street Framery” simply because the place where we live, laugh, and love happens to be on a street named Georgia. Oh yeah … and we make a few frames there too! (wink)

Why we do it:

Quiet honestly, we saw a need. As owners of a photography studio we found it hard to find a frame we felt had the quality and essence we wanted to offer to our clients with a price that wouldn’t drive them away. So we put our heads together and came up with our own frames with the intent of offering them to our clients, however, it was the response from fellow photographers that urged us to begin this adventure. So here we go!

Our design process:

Every aspect of our design process was inspired by something we loved about our space on Georgia Street. We absolutely love older homes with all their character and we tried to include that into our frame designs. This romantic home with its simple yet gracious style has lots of charm of which to derive from. For example, our Savannah frame found its influence from the age old heavy wooden doors that grace the Georgian. The color Spoiled Pink was distinctively chosen to match the delicate vintage tiles that encompass the powder room and the design for the Marietta frame came from the depth and definition of the timeless fireplace surround and hearth.

Our product:

Our frames are handmade individually with each piece of solid pine carefully handpicked. Each frame is painted using only quality paints and then distressed to add a delicious patina in one of ten different hues. Our distressing methods add to the peculiarity to each frame, leaving no two exactly the same.
